"I rarely write reviews -- generally only if a company is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. I'm taking the time to write this because Franklin Block Opticians is SUPERB. Julie offers extraordinary customer service. She is extremely knowledgeable about all things glasses, has an excellent eye for styling, and is just plain fun to shop for glasses with. Their selection is extensive, with SO many options in a full range of price options. And if you can't find EXACTLY what you want, they carry the iGreen Eyewear line that allows you to custom make your glasses with endless options for shape, color, metal tone for hardware, and even adding in nosepads to their plastic frames. Julie demonstrated great patience with my indecision and was eager to find me glasses that I would BOTH love and be really comfortable in. Bonus: I was thrilled to learn that the set I bought last year had a one-year scratch warranty... which I ended up REALLY needing (oops). FB is also always happy to do little tune-ups to adjust the fit. I recommend calling in advance (even if the day of) to make an appointment so you can get the most from the staff's styling expertise."

"First time customer. I came for their huge selection of frames! At other stores, I could find frames that fit or looked good, but not both. But here, I was shown a customizable product -- choose the frame shape, the color, the temples. Beautiful!!!  And the service is so friendly and top notch!! From helping me select the frames, to ensuring that they fit PERFECTLY, the women at this store are true professionals! I had to come back for an adjustment, and they took out the exact pair I had tried on and made my glasses fit like the model, but better because the placement was adjusted for my Rx.  I highly recommend Franklin Block Opticians and will definitely come back the next time I need glasses!"
